Maria Silvia Monteiro Costa worked in Advertising and Public Relations agencies, building brands and corporate reputation for national and global companies. She ventured into the financial market supporting BankBoston and Santander. As an entrepreneur and consultant, she contributed with the design and implementation of internal communication and organizational culture in large multinational companies such as Apple, Gerdau, Banco do Brasil, FSB Comunicação, Honda, Finep, Infoglobo, Microsoft, Bauducco, and Ambev. Since 2009, she has participated, led, and contributed to the development of practices and movements to incorporate sustainability and humanization of businesses. She is an ambassador of the Conscious Capitalism movement and pioneer of the Shakti Leadership movement in Brazil. Maria Silvia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication by Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and Executive Marketing by Insper. Maria Silvia is currently doing a MBA in Corporate Governance, Advanced Boardroom Program for Women, at Saint Paul Escola de Negócios and Organizational Psychology and People Management at PUCRS.
